This project was the first abstract piece I did in my new house. The house I had been living in previous to this had an unfinished basement so I could throw paint everywhere, and it didn't matter. With my new house - the basement is entirely finished so I had to cover the entire area in heavy duty plastic so I didn't destroy the entire place.

Liz wanted some art for her living room. Something that wouldn't be too "in your face" but would still stand out. We decided to go with two 30" x 48" custom built canvases to take up a decent amount of space. For color scheme - we ended up going with blues and greens to have an almost deep blue ocean/choral green effect. The outcome was absolutely beautiful. There are about 20+ layers on this series.
