Designing Queen Bee
Lots of plants and bees - YAS QUEEN
This piece is the second Symbolic Abstract I've done, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The buyer is a repeat customer of mine and wanted a piece that defined her - so we hopped on the phone and discussed a color palette, key themes, and then started to create a Pinterest board to begin setting the overall tone.
She wanted light sunny colors, nothing too flashy, light pinks, yellows, and oranges with rose gold leaf! She also wanted a ton of bumblebees and flowers. Specifically ranunculus bulbs/succulents and some personal characteristics thrown in as well which you can see outlining the work. ["Wildly Worthy" quote, crown, Leo symbol, female symbol, gold leaf throughout, and lots of bumble bees!]
This type of style is called Symbolic Abstract because it uses a lot of different things to represent/symbolize someone but still creates a unified work of art. Absolutely love this style!
